Anup is a unique musician who combines traditional Classical Indian music with western pop music.
He has received Classical Indian Music instruction from his mother, Sitaben, his guru,
Shri Nikhil Ghosh, Pt. Nayan Ghosh, Gulam Hussain, Iyaz Khan, and he has been inspired by Pt.
Ravi Shankar, Pt. Shivdayal Batish and Ashwin Batish.
The enthusiastic support from friends and family encouraged him to found
Anup’s dream is to fuse diverse cultural music, without losing their original spirit and flavor.
He envisions transforming simple and complex Indian scales into easily understandable and enjoyable songs.
He aims at easing the sombre and complex image that has surrounded Classical Indian Music by emphasizing the universality of musical notes.
This can only be comprehended by listening to Anup’s musical compositions and recordings.
Anup is sure to hit the music industry with a big bang, and further add to the dynamic, diverse and infinite beauty of music.
